A belated Happy New Year to everyone, I hope the new year is a good one for you. I am thinking I am going to go into a new direction and apply engineering knowledge to companies and see if they are worth investing in.
Keep in mind this is an my evaluation based on engineering principles. Some companies promise results but the results never come. If you put money in these companies it will be lost but if knowledge applied then we can put our money into the right companies and it will grow.
I want to pass a word of wisdom to everyone. We should invest in the stock market and play in the areas we know.
Here is something to think about, we put our money into banks and what do we get from them. They use our money for their investment and they need our money to make loans but they pay us peanuts. We need to go into stock and bonds.
First piece of wisdom do not invest if Ford or GM.
They have more debt than equity and there is no growth for them.
Update
Our engineering knowledge can be used in several different fields, for instance we can use it in data analysis in any industry. We use it for evaluating companies to see if they technology is viable. I am not claiming to be a medical person but physics are universal ie a heart is a like a pump. Engineering our systems are not living.
Think outside our field and apply our knowledge everywhere. I would start doing research on battery companies and provide evaluations of them (technical evaluations)
